St Patricks Graveyard Project

Louth County Council, with the assistance of Jim Kerley of the Old Dundalk Society, have created a free, searchable database of burials for St Patrick’s Cemetery in Dowdallshill, Dundalk.

The records include the name, age, religious persuasion, occupation, marital status, last place of residence, dates of death and burial, and grave number and location. The earliest burial on the database is April 1895. The last date is December 2019. Recent burials will be added on an annual rolling five-year period. The last place of residence field has been redacted for those entries under thirty years old and will be added on an annual rolling basis.
