The Changing of the Guard

The lecture tells the story of one hundred years of policing rural Ireland.

 The lecture will be given by Brendan McAvinue. Brendan is a graduate of Maynooth’s Certificate Course in Local History. He has conducted extensive research into the history of policing in Ireland, and has published and lectured about his work.

Due to the limited capacity of the venue, attendees are advised to come early.
