Rampart Ramble

The Old Dundalk Society (ODS) contribution to National Heritage Week will be to continue our journey along the Rampart  River Way.  Members of the ODS Committee will deliver  presentations on (1) Presbyterian School/Church ,(2) Thomas Williamson former residence, (3) former residence of Cardinal Conway and (4) Malcom Brown & Co Distillery. We will also have presentation from our guest speaker, Peter Mc Kevitt who will  outline the history of the famous Dundalk Dog Track which was located on the ‘Rampart River Way’. The walk will commence at 6.30 pm on the 16th August 2023 from outside Presbyterian Church).
